"PROPOWER" - Residential Painter Support Program
Welcome to PPG Pittsburgh® Paints ProPower Program! As a member of the ProPower Program you will receive tools and assistance designed specifically for you, the residential painter. These tools will provide you with the leverage needed to differentiate yourself from your competition.
ProPower consists of four primary categories:
Member Services is a collection of marketing and business building tools for the professional painter which include:
- Special discounts through Dell, Nextel/Sprint and Office Max
- Small Business Web Site Creator - a link to assist with the development of a professional website
- Merchant Express - a link to a credit card processing service which enables painters to accept credit cards from their customers
- A PPG web-based referral service (Find a Painter)
Member Resources is the communication arm of ProPower and provides information about business, safety, health and the painting industry which includes:
- The Paint Underground, monthly newsletter on the latest industry information
- The PPG Pittsburgh® Paints website, accessed via www.pittsburghpaints.com
Business Support Tools are the tools that you can use to promote and grow your business including:
- Personalized Yard Signs
- Personalized Vehicle Signs
- Personalized T-shirts
- Color Tools
- Presentation Folders
- Product Brochures
Additional support materials are available from your retailer. Some of the items available include: wet film gauges, bumper stickers, door knob hangers, decorator worksheets, wet paint signs, hats, t-shirts and the "Visions at a Glance®" color tool CD. There is a cost for some of these items but many are available free of charge. Please see your retailer for details.
